Start a Team Mixer/Jam

Interested in joining an improv team, but don't know where to start? A lot of groups fizzle out after a few practices or their first show - how can you keep momentum going? Join us for a chat on starting and sustaining teams, and stay for a jam with some potential teammates! Existing teams looking for new members are welcome.

Discussion (60 mins)

Learn about the different structures of improv teams and the setup/expectations of each. We’ll also talk through how to handle logistics (practices, coaches, shows), artistic considerations (who is in, how you want to play), strategies to keep things going, pitfalls to avoid, and when to say goodbye.

Jam (90 mins)

Do some quick sets with other people looking for teams. Find people you like and start a team. Take audiences by storm. World tour.
