The 2026 premiere. Cagematch is back and better than ever (citation needed)! 4 improv teams battle it out for your votes, and the top 2 come back next week to face new challengers. It's a true test of comedic mettle!

Improvper Conduct

From what we know of Improvper Conduct, this impish lot began by meeting every Sunday, homeschooling themselves by dissecting improv games they found online. Years later, their penchant for theatrics has them leaning towards narrative long forms, framing shows with wild set pieces, costumes, collabs and themes. If you're up against them, watch out - they specialise in big narrative arcs, accidentally breaking character and making very... Improvper references.

Same Height Group

They eat healthy, they play dirty, and they're the same height. Presenting to you, Same Height Group!!

7-Star Chendol

7-Star Cendol was founded by members and alumni of Yale-NUS Improv in 2022. They tell all kinds of stories from ones that will warm your heart to ones that bring surreal worlds to life.

The Anthropologists

The Anthropologists is a new team drawn to the in-between moments of life: a simple breakfast, a walk, the pause before someone says what they actually mean. They're after presence and staying with what's happening. They hope that each show ends up feeling like a lived-in scene that is shared with the audience.

About Cagematch

The improv competition show is back! After a 3 year hiatus, Cagematch returns at Blu Jaz and FreakyCones for more fun and mayhem. Each week, 4 teams perform improv sets and the audience votes for the top 2 teams. The winners return next week to face new challengers!
